The Prosoft MVI69L-MBS is a Modbus Serial Lite Communication Module designed for Rockwell Automation CompactLogix programmable automation controllers (PACs).
- Serial Communication: Provides a single RS-232 serial port for connecting to Modbus RTU or ASCII protocol devices.
- Modbus Capability: Supports both Modbus Master and Slave functionality. As a Master, the CompactLogix can poll data from slave devices. As a Slave, the CompactLogix can respond to data requests from a Modbus Master.
- CompactLogix Integration: Designed for seamless integration with Rockwell Automation CompactLogix controllers using version 16 and higher of the 1769 I/O bus capability (MicroLogix 1500 not supported).
- Configuration and Programming: Includes an Add-on Profile (AOP) and Add-on Instruction (AOI) to simplify configuration and programming within the CompactLogix environment. These features help reduce commissioning time by providing pre-built functions for Modbus communication.
